ElggCampBA 2009 – A huge success!Farmsphere
Farmsphere wants to thank all those who attended and supported this two-day business and technology meeting.
First of all, we would like to highlight the presence of Brett Profitt on behalf of Elgg, with whom we shared a week of hard work and enriching experiences.
The event that took place on Thursday 19 November in Las Cañitas – Buenos Aires – started with opening words by Farmsphere CMO, Sebastian Nader.
The first part of the meeting consisted of a presentation of the Elgg tool and its potentialities by Pedro Prez, CEO of Keetup, an Elgg developer company leader in the Spanish-speaking market.
After that, Brett Profitt talked about the future of the Open Source platform, leader in the development of social networks.
Next came Sebastian San Juan, COO of Farmsphere, currently the most ambitious business and professional network project specialized in the field of Food and Agribusiness around the world. Farmsphere also leads the most outstanding research and development lines within the Elgg community.
The day was closed by Susana Cipriota and Lucila Campos, founders of Condiminds, a company specialized in Organizational Communication through the use of social network platforms. Their presentation dealt with the opportunities and benefits brought about by the creation of a space of direct bidirectional communication with diverse institutional audiences: B2E, B2B and B2C.
The meeting carried out on Friday 20, in our offices in San Telmo, was dedicated to Sprint Code. Around twenty local programmers held a whole online working day, via streaming, with specialists from all over the world, with the aim of improving the programming code’s performance.
